When he was young, Jordan had a splenectomy resulting in (no joke) 6 spleens. The same week Jordan developed this, 'House' had an episode about a patient with multiple spleens.

Using the International Phonetic Alphabet, Ly wrote, designed and illustrated the first book ever written in Ikota, an endangered language with no writing system, spoken in the Gabonese Republic. It was a pop-up book called How Ihiako (The Ant Who Bites) Got Its Name.
