History Tutors in NYC - Ivy Tutors Network

History

Tutors who specialize in history are truly passionate about the subject and have a high level of education from a top-tier university in political science, journalism, or a related field.

Studying history can seem overwhelming with the large amount of reading and memorization that is required to get a top grade. But our tutors are able to put historical timelines and events in context, making them come alive, and connect past history with current events. Our students have consistently scored 4s and 5s on AP History exams such as AP US History and AP Government with our award-winning test prep, and have become stronger essay writers along the way.

Equally important is the help we provide to students learning to organize their course loads and be ready to conquer college classes. Reading textbooks efficiently, becoming expert note-takers, making good study guides, planning one’s time, and developing strong research and paper-writing skills are all building blocks to becoming successful in all subjects!

Our tutors work with students of all ages to become well-versed in American History & Government, World History, Ancient History, and the History of Religions, preparing students to achieve top scores on Regents and APs in the process.
