SAT & ACT Semi-Private Classes
Wondering if one-on-one tutoring for the SAT or ACT or a group class is better? While personalized learning with an SAT or ACT expert is the most efficient way to study, it can be costly and may not be the best path for every student. On the other hand, group classes cover a lot of topics a student may already know, without narrowing in on the specific test prep each student needs. At IVY, we combine one-on-one SAT and ACT tutoring with the best parts of a group class: some healthy competition, accountability, and lower cost. We create small groups of 3-6 students using skill level and diagnostic results. In our semi-private SAT and ACT groups, students can have the individualized attention they need and also learn from each other. Class participants start with a diagnostic exam, cover all of the math and ELA, and science content needed for the SAT or ACT, learn the best test specific strategies, and practice these skills through regular homework and mock exams.
