ACT Tutoring in Atlanta
The ACT is one of the two available college entrance exams in the USA. At 2 hours 55 mins long, the ACT is 5 minutes shorter than its competitor, the SAT test. The ACT is particularly suited for students who want less math on their exam (only 25% of ACT questions) and prefer subject variation. Known for putting time pressure on test takers, the ACT is still the preferred test of more than 50% of testers who apply to college in the US. The ACT is made up of 4 sections: English, Reading Comprehension, Math, and Science. By contrast, the SAT is 50% Math and does not contain a Science section.
IVY offers a diagnostic exam to help identify areas of strength and weakness on the test. Our data-driven and personalized approach has allowed IVY’s brilliant tutors to help our students achieve a perfect 36 ACT score or break a 34, year after year.
