ACT Tutoring in Atlanta
The ACT is one of the two available college entrance exams in the USA. At 2 hours 55 mins long, the ACT is 5 minutes shorter than its competitor, the SAT test. The ACT is particularly suited for students who want less math on their exam (only 25% of ACT questions) and prefer subject variation. Known for putting time pressure on test takers, the ACT is still the preferred test of more than 50% of testers who apply to college in the US. The ACT is made up of 4 sections: English, Reading Comprehension, Math, and Science. By contrast, the SAT is 50% Math and does not contain a Science section.
IVY offers a diagnostic exam to help identify areas of strength and weakness on the test. Our data-driven and personalized approach has allowed IVY’s brilliant tutors to help our students achieve a perfect 36 ACT score or break a 34, year after year. Many of our students go up by as many as 5 points after 3-6 months of prep. IVY students also benefit from free mock tests and ACT materials that show quick and easy tricks for solving any type of problem you can encounter on test day.
