A New York City native, Sarah graduated from Vanderbilt University with a major in Child Studies and a minor in Reading and Literacy Education, then completed her Master of Science in Education at Hunter College. Sarah is New York State certified to teach Birth through 6th grade, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Health Education at Teachers College Columbia University. She teaches an ICT Kindergarten class at an elementary school on the Upper East Side, and previously taught fourth grade. Sarah also taught chess and third grade ELA and Math skills after school. She loves to keep the learning active and fun! She coached 4th/5th grade Ultimate and worked at an after school sports program for grades K-5. Sarah loves to play sports and games.
In Kindergarten, Sarah was the jump rope queen! Now she teaches her students to solve Rubik's cubes during choice time!
