After attending Saint Ann’s in Brooklyn, Nick graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 2016, where he studied fine art, literature, and foreign languages. He served as a peer French tutor for the Yale Center for Language and also volunteered to tutor inmates at Connecticut Youth Prison. Since graduating, Nick has worked as a studio assistant for renowned artists and completed art residencies in London and Berlin. As a tutor, he helps a wide variety of learners of every level. He knows how to put himself in the place of his students and break down difficult concepts so that they are easily understandable. He especially enjoys helping students develop and structure their arguments for writing. His aim is to help each student find his or her unique perspective and voice, especially for college essays. Nick has garnered a loyal following with Ivy's online courses in poetry and advanced math for middle schoolers.

When not tutoring, Nick can be found painting in his studio, reading German poetry, or eating canned sardines.
