Mariah graduated from Yale University in 2016 with a degree in fine arts, and has worked as a graphic designer since then. However, hoping to make a bigger impact in the lives of others, she recently decided to go back to school for clinical psychology at Hunter College. Her background in caring for and seeking to understand others makes her an attentive, patient, and nurturing tutor. She has years of experience tutoring one-on-one, as well as teaching her own curriculum in a classroom setting. During her time as an undergraduate, Mariah excelled in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and biological sciences. As a graduate student in psychology, she gains skills in quantitative reasoning and scientific thinking that she hopes to pass on to her students. When Mariah is not tutoring or working toward her degree, she is visiting art museums, searching for the perfect bowl of noodles, and getting too excited about puppies.

Mariah once made 450 paintings and drawings in four weeks as part of an intensive studio art program. The largest were roughly six feet tall and four feet wide.
