Cara has over a decade of experience helping children with dyslexia and language-based learning differences learn to read and comprehend to their potential. She is passionate about supporting students and their parents as they move from academic overwhelm to calm empowerment. As the Executive Director of Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, an intensive reading remediation clinic, Cara designed and implemented differentiated instruction plans, performed four-hour diagnostic evaluations, and presented lectures and case studies at education conferences and top neuropsychology clinics in NYC. Cara is now in private practice, bringing a whole-child approach to reading remediation. She deeply understands the emotional resilience necessary to thrive in the face of challenge. Through her one-on-one coaching, Cara supports students and their parents as they move through the academic anxiety that often accompanies reading and writing challenges. Cara received her bachelors degree from Cornell University and has a masters from Teachers College of Columbia University.

Cara is working on publishing her first children's book
