Teresa is a born and bred New Yorker who is familiar with going to school in the city, having attended Stuyvesant. After graduating from Brown University, she worked in education for 14 years before embarking on her PhD in Developmental Psychology at Teachers College Columbia University. She has helped countless students find success in everything from learning how to read, passing a challenging course, or scoring their best on a standardized test.

Learn Grammar Visually: Diagramming Sentences

  • Understanding grammar is the doorway to becoming a great writer, reading complex and challenging texts, doing well on standardized exams, and learning foreign languages. Open the hood and learn about the parts that make a sentence work. Sentence diagramming is a great visual/logical way to learn, refresh, or reexamine grammar. The skills learned in this class will continue to benefit you in (and help with admissions to) high school, college, grad school, and your career.

  • Mon, Wed, Thurs: 1 hour per day over 3 weeks (9 hours total)
