Yoav Sivan

Yoav moved to New York for Columbia Journalism School, and now writes freelance, yet loves math and science He has always enjoyed helping students understand a diverse array of new subjects and solve problems. Before journalism, he worked as an aide to members of the Israeli parliament, and in other teaching and research positions. At Tel Aviv University he majored in economics, graduating near the top of his class, and also studied accounting, philosophy and cognitive sciences. He spent a year at the graduate program in economics at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Recently, he was a visiting scholar at the sociology department at NYU.
