Simone Policano

Simone was born and raised on the West Side (read: Best Side) of New York City, where she crossed Central Park each morning for 13 years to attend Hunter College Elementary & High School. She headed to Yale for four years, acting in theatrical productions with the Yale Dramatic Association and performing in comedy shows with Yale’s premier sketch group “Red Hot Poker.” She just graduated with a B.A. in American Studies with a focus in Theater/Performing Arts, and is back in NY to pursue an acting career. Simone has tutored for many years, in subjects ranging from English to Humanities, from Biology to Spanish (in which she is fluent, gracias Abuela). For all four years at Yale she worked as a Recruitment Coordinator and Senior Interviewer in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, so she has observed the college process from the other side up close.
