Serena Zhan

Serena grew up in Minnesota and is currently studying for her MS in Biostatistics as a graduate student at Columbia University, and will return to Columbia in the fall of 2017 for her PhD in Biostatistics. She graduated Wellesley College with a double major in Mathematics and Economics, then worked four years as an economic consultant in the life sciences industry. She is currently a Teacher’s Assistant for Columbia’s Statistical Computing with SAS, leading class sessions and holding office hours to assist students. Her academic and professional expertise make Serena eminently qualified to teach multiple math subjects and test prep for the SAT, ACT and GRE exams, as well as Mandarin.
