Rebecca hails from Sunny Arizona. After graduating high school at age 16, she attended Arizona State University on a full merit scholarship. She graduated from ASU (go Sun Devils!) summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA, earning a BAE in special education and elementary education, as well as an English immersion endorsement. Wanting to understand her students in depth, she earned a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a New York State certified teacher in both elementary education and special education. Rebecca values a highly collaborative, individualized approach to education, with a teacher striving to understand how each student learns. She unequivocally believes that within this context, every student can succeed with communication, determination, and hard work.
