Rachel Cohen

Rachel, originally from Philadelphia, has just returned for her masters at the Wharton School of Business. She attended Phillips Academy Andover for high school, then the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in biology and completed coursework in calculus, statistics, economics, and the sciences. While in New York, Rachel was a management consultant in financial services. She is now available to tutor via Skype or FaceTime only. Rachel specializes in tutoring middle school math, particularly pre-algebra and algebra. She also has extensive experience helping students prepare for the ACT, SAT, SSAT, SHSAT, ELA, and ISEE exams. She recently helped a student raise her ACT score from 25 to 35 in 4 months of tutoring. Students enjoy working with Rachel because she sets the bar high but is also very patient. She also has a great sense of humor. Rachel founded a nonprofit, which is still operational, called Hand2Paw, that teaches homeless young adults how to pursue jobs in animal shelters. SKYPE ONLY
