Paula Delgado Kling

Paula, who grew up between Bogota, Colombia and Toronto, Canada, writes both fiction and non-fiction. At Brown University she received honors in Comparative Literature/French Civilizations, wrote her honors thesis on Spanish literature, and spent her junior year in Paris studying at La Sorbonne and Sciences Po. She has worked in documentaries and television and written for magazines in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. She earned her masters at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs with a concentration in Latin America and media, while interning at the United Nations. Yet, Paula found her heart was, indeed, in literature, so returned for her masters in creative writing at the New School. Her extensive experience in writing and reading includes ten years evaluating manuscripts at Narrative Magazine.

Paula has a third grade daughter writing her first novel. She plays a violin named Vivi. Their tortoise, named Tortoise, likes to speed-walk along the Hudson River.
