Andrew Gross

Andrew graduated Cum Laude from Princeton in 2010 with a major in music and a heavy focus on math and computer science. He has tutored for over fifteen years, including tutoring privately and several years with Ivy Tutors. Since graduating, he has worked in New York as a freelance television producer and writer on nonfiction series for networks like A&E and Investigation Discovery. He is very glad that his flexible schedule allows him to continue teaching. Andrew brings a patient and friendly approach to teaching, specializing in math. Having scored 800 on the math SAT, 800 on the math SAT II, and 5/5 on the AP Calculus exam, he shares effective strategies to help his students do the same. As every student is different, he finds the process works best when the teaching style is tailored to the specific needs and personality of each student.
